秦地羅敷女，
採桑綠水邊。
素手青條上，
紅妝白日鮮。
蠶飢妾欲去，
五馬莫留連。

IN the Ch‘in country lives Miss Lo Fu;
She plucks mulberry leaves beside green waters,
Her white hand stretches out to touch the green leaves,
Her make-up is freshly put on.
“My silkworms are starving,” she says, “I must be off.”
Do not halt your five horses to linger here.
